Pre-purchase inspection

What is a pre-purchase inspection?

A pre-purchase inspection report is a written account of the property’s condition that is prepared after an inspection conducted by a building professional. This report will cover any significant or minor building defects or problems such as rising damp, cracking in the walls, safety hazards, faults of appliances, roof condition issues, and so on.

Always ensure that you subject the property to a building inspction prior to exchanging and signing contracts. This will enable you to identify any problems which could prove costly to repair, and protect you if the inspection report comes back with severe faults and defects of the property.
